OFFSHORE MARINE SECURITY SERVICES

With our working framework and robust relationship with PMSCs having Nigerian Navy MOU, we provide well trained marine Crew and Security Escort Team(SET) from the Nigerian Navy to provide security coverage onboard offshore security patrol vessels for our clients Marine Tankers, Marchant Ships, Cargo Ships, offshore marine assets and platforms.

Working closely with our Nigerian and offshore technical partners who are global players, we provide a wide array of tugs, Platform Supply & Offshore Support Vessels, AHTS, LHT, CWB, FSIV, Rigs, Flotels, Tankers etc. and expertise to meet client needs in an efficient and effective manner and provide services that cater for the daily needs of deep offshore assets.

CREW SUPPLY AND MANAGEMENT

Oceansafe Marine Crew Management package is designed to provide seafarers with the required training, skills, and competence to safeguard our client’s valuable assets and reputations. We maintain a pool of highly motivated crew with the requisite qualifications, skills, and expertise. Our competitive as well as cost effective pay rates, terms, and conditions, ensure a happy and satisfied crew, evidenced by our enviable crew retention rates across all cadre.

We are experienced in maritime human resources management. Our Company offers Crew Services to the highest standards in accordance with STCW`2010, a comprehensive mandatory course enforced by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and International Safety Management Code. We perform our duty in an efficient and effective manner by recruiting Qualified Seafarers.

Our experienced recruitment staff provides well-trained and competent seamen for different types of vessels (e.g. Platform Supply Vessels, Tugs, Crew Supply Vessels, Offshore Supply Vessels, Fast Crew Boats, Fast Supply Intervention Vessels, House Boats, etc.) Our seamen are fluent in English and possess all the necessary professional skills, knowledge and documents required for working onboard ships managed by a wide range of employers.

We have in our database well experienced seafarers in all ranks and, when we receive a request for crew from our clients, prior to proposing the candidates, we screen carefully and undergo psychological examinations, to ensure our Principals and Clients are provided with the most qualified seafarers available. We also conduct thorough verification of candidate’s documents, to ensure that this certifications, qualification, experience, and documents are valid and legal. We are fully compliant to Maritime Labour Convention for the management of our crew

PETROLEUM PRODUCTS SUPPLY

We provide Onshore / Offshore supply of quality AGO and Marine Gas Oil for smaller/large vessels, auxiliary engines and generators at short notice even in the most remote locations. We comply strictly to all statutory and regulatory procedures for loading, transporting and discharge of petroleum products. We are efficient and competitive with extensive experience in the handling of petroleum products, and strategic arrangement of Supply Vessels and operations.

OFFSHORE VESSEL INSPECTION DATA-BASE (OVID)

Oceansafe Limited provides  survey and inspection services for clients’ vessels. We have array of certified OVID inspectors that carry out surveys and inspections for Clients vessels in line with OCIMF requirement. We assess and monitor the condition of ships / offshore units, as well as facilitate commissioning and give guidance on closing out OVID open items or defects . All of our inspections / surveys include an in-depth report to show results and conditions.

PROCUREMENT OF MARINE EQUIPMENT AND BROKERAGE SERVICES

Leveraging on logistic expertise and a desirable network of OEMs and manufacturers representatives, we provide quality procurement services of various equipment, ranging from lifeboats, vessels, zodiac, inboard and outboard boat engines, gun boats, house boats, barges, tugs, Fenders generators, Electronic Fuel Monitoring Systems, Life raft, Life Buoys, Life Jackets, MOB Signals, EPIRB (Emergency Positioning Indication Radio Beacon), HRU (Hydrostatic Release Units), PPEs, etc. 

SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Oceansafe considers Safety Management as part of the line responsibilities of Managers and Supervisors for which they are accountable. In the case of Vessels, the Vessel officers (Captains, chief mate, chief Engr and second Engr) are directly responsible for the enforcement of Safety Management policies on board.

Oceansafe has identified key shipboard operations, having an impact on safety and pollution prevention. Procedures, instructions and checklists encompassing these operations have been documented. 

The Company conducts these activities under controlled conditions and in accordance with procedures defined on board and ashore. The Company employs qualified personnel to perform the activities aboard ships and suitable personnel in the shore office are designated to monitor and provide adequate technical support to ships and to provide all applicable technical feedback information from available resources.

Procedures and checklists have been established for the preparation of plans and instructions for key on board operations concerning safety and prevention of pollution. Some of the shipboard operations are also subdivided in Critical and Special operations to meet the requirements of the ISM Code.
